Paul Cheng, EIT, came to Canada from Hong Kong in 1990. Paul obtained his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Victoria in 1997 and a graduate diploma in business administration from Simon Fraser University in 2002. Paul is a team leader with BC Hydro's engineering department practicing project and work management, customer service, and marketing. James C. Hsieh , CA, MBA, is a Chartered Accountant since 1979 and he was in public practice with CA firms for more than ten years. Currently, he is a Senior lecturer teaching accounting and a program co-ordinator for the Business Co-operative education program at Simon Fraser University ( SFU). He obtained his Bachelor degree in Marketing, Insurance & transportation and MBA (1974) in Accounting & Quantitative Methods from University of Oregon. He was a journalist prior to his business and teaching career, graduating from the World college of Journalism in Taiwan and worked as a reporter for an international news agency for more than three years. Currently, he is a director for the Junior Achievement ( JA ) of BC, a director for Entrepreneurial Learning Foundation, and a director for Touch Stone Family Association. He is an member of a Rotary club, speaker for the Public Legal Education Society (The People's Law School ), and a member of Mandarin Service Consultation Committee for SUCCESS. He was the president of Rotary Club of Vancouver Chinatown ( 86/87 ), chairman of Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship Selection Committee, Rotary District #5040, Rotary International ( 95-96 ), president of Richmond Chinese Community Society ( 96-97 ), vice-chair for the annual Partners in Community Conferences for the City of Richmond (94-96).

Bonnie Teng, BA, LLB, is a lawyer practicing in immigration, real estate, and corporate/commercial law, and is with the law firm of Loh and Company. She has a B.A. from the University of British Columbia and obtained her law degree from the University of Windsor. She is an active member of the Immigration Section of the Canadian Bar Association and is a frequent speaker at various seminars and commentator on radio programs. She is fluent in English, French, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Edmond Wong, Ph.D., was born in Vancouver, B.C. He obtained his B.Sc. in biochemistry from McGill University, and received his doctorate in the field of molecular genetics from U.B.C. Dr. Wong is a scientist and director of a biotechnology company specializing in DNA testing and biomedical research with a special interest in cancer gene therapy.

Solomon Wong, B.A., M.Sc.Pl, is a Director at InterVISTAS Consulting. Working with airports and the transportation industry, he specializes in process re-engineering, security and border processes. A director for MOSAIC(BC) and for YVR Golf for Kids in support of Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Solomon also has a wide range of community activities. An urban planner by training from the University of Toronto, Solomon is an avid photographer and enthusiast for mobile data technologies.

Anna Fung, Q.C. is a Senior Counsel at Terasen Gas Inc.. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1986 after serving as a law clerk in the B.C. Court of Appeal. Prior to joining BC Gas in 1993, she practiced corporate/commercial law, aboriginal rights litigation and administrative law at Davis & Company (1986 to 1989) and McCarthy Tetrault in Vancouver (1989 to 1993). She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and French (1981) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of British Columbia (1984). She is a Bencher of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Vice-Chair of its Discipline Committee and a member of the Financial Planning Committee. She also served on the Credentials Committee from 1998 to 1999, and mostly recently as chair of the Equity and Diversity Committee. She is a Director of a number of professional and non-profit organizations including the People Law School, Continuing Legal Education Society of B.C., Battery Opera, the Association of Chinese Canadian Professionals and the UBC Law Alumni Association. She is a Past President of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, past President of the B.C. Autism Association and a former national Director of the Canadian Bar Association, the Legal Education and Action Fund (EAF? and West Coast LEAF. She is a member of The Foundation for Legal Research. Anna was appointed Queen Counsel in April, 2000. Anna has spoken at conferences of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, the Institute for International Research and the Professional Legal Training Course. In her spare time, Anna indulges her passion for golfing and skiing and is trying to become a snowboarder. Anna is fluently bilingual in English and French and speaks Cantonese and a smattering of Mandarin, Spanish and Italian.

Ray Chu, P. Eng., is a registered Professional Engineer in the Province of B.C. and Alberta. Ray is president of CWA Engineers Inc., a consulting engineering company he founded in Vancouver in 1997. His company currently has 30 staff members and specializes in the design of sawmills, engineered wood plants, wood processing facilities, pulp mill fiber handling systems, and co-generation plants. Ray is a seasoned engineer and accomplished manager with 28 years experience in feasibility study, project scope definition and planning, conceptual design, capital budgeting, and project management. In his spare time, Ray enjoys traveling, photography, swimming, hiking, and skiing.

David Wong, MRAIC, a third generation Vancouver born Canadian, is the President and Creative Director of e-Atelier inc., an Architectural and Computer Graphics firm. In 1992, David co-founded one of Singapore's largest architectural firms - designing hotels and resorts in Bali, Cuba, Malaysia, Portugal, and Canada. He led his company on some award winning projects, including the new airport terminals in Singapore, the Seychelle Islands, and a (Los Angeles) residence for HRH, the Sultan of Brunei. Active in the community, David helped found / organize a number of organizations and is an Advisor / Board member on a number of Canadian political parties, post secondary institutions, professional associations, multi-cultural organizations and business enterprises - including RICEPAPER and banana Magazine (interim President). David's commitment of community participation is shared with eoAtelier inc. - supporting Youth and Educational organizations through corporate sponsorships and partnerships.

Doris Mak, B.Sc, B.Comm., completed both degrees at the University of Manitoba. Doris has lived in Vancouver since 1997, and is currently a Senior Market Analyst for a transportation consulting firm that specializes in airport marketing.

Audrey Wang, B.A., is the Communication Coordinator for a company called Ortho Active that specializes in orthotics and other sports medicine products. In 2002, she graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.A. in Communications and Sociology. Audrey is an active member in various community organizations. She has been a Girl Guide Leader in Coquitlam for six years and currently sits on Area Council as the Newsletter Editor. She also volunteers in various events and fundraisers for Sunshine Dreams for Kids Foundation, a national organization that fulfills the dreams of kids with life-threatening illnesses. In the fall, she is taking six months leave to go to Korea. She will be working with CEC Network to promote Canada as a destination for international study exchanges and business trainings.

Bill Yuen, P.Eng., came to Canada 32 years ago from Hong Kong, and has lived in British Columbia for 28 years. He is married and has two children. Bill is a professional engineer, and has held various engineering and management positions in B.C. for 25 years. Bill believes ACCP will provide needed support and services to members, and as a "professionals" association it brings positive contributions and added values to the society. Bill has an exemplary record of community service. He served six years as a Trustee of the Vancouver School Board and two years as member of the Board of the Vancouver Public Library. Bill has also served on the B.C. Ministry of Children and Family Development's Regional Planning Committee, Vancouver City Planning Commission, and many community boards and committees.

Peter Hu is pursuing his CA accounting designation with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Vancouver. Peter is currently a coop student at SFU and expected to graduate in 2005. Peter has been very involved in student organizations. He was the president of SFU Taiwanese Association in 2000 where he coordinated and led conferences, social events, and tournaments up to 1200 participants. Peter was the president of SFU Accounting Student Association in 2002 where he built network and communication amongst CA firms, SFU faculty and students. Peter was also involved in SFU Business Administration Student Society where he designed and edit monthly newsletter.

Peter has been working in Japanese restaurant as a chef for 4 years. He stands behind the sushi bar and makes delicious sushi and sashimi for the customers. Peter obtained his intermediate level of high-performance education from Performance Drivers Club. He is not afraid of challenges, especially at the windy roads. Peter enjoys digital photography at his spare time. Some of the US locations Peter traveled to for work recently are Pennsylvania, NYC, Philadelphia, Washington DC, and San Francisco.

Jeremy Chan is a business lawyer with the national law firm Miller Thomson LLP in Vancouver. He provides advice in a wide variety of business transactions including corporate reorganizations, amalgamations, financings, joint venture agreements, shareholder agreements and buying and selling businesses. Jeremy works with a variety of clients ranging from small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to large companies from different industry sectors including: financial services, natural resources, environmental consulting, waste management, manufacturing, health care, and transportation. He enjoys working in a team based atmosphere and provides practical business-oriented solutions by emphasizing a problem-solving approach. Jeremy has previously worked in Hong Kong and studied in Japan. Besides English, he speaks Cantonese and is learning Mandarin. He is a business graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University (1997) and holds a law degree from the University of Windsor (2002). Jeremy was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2001.
